Sponsorship Information

There are two ways to become a sponsor on Discover Paper:

1) Advertise on Discover Paper
Discover Paper has quickly become a source of constant paper inspiration for artists, shop owners, and paper enthusiasts. As of March 2012, we currently have an average of over 40,000 monthly visitors and over 95,000 monthly page views and a following of over 2750 and counting on twitter and over 550 fans on facebook.

Types of ads welcome are those that appeal to the paper-loving crowd, so if you own a paper shop, make paper goods, etc. and would like to gain more exposure with this crowd, contact me at discoverpaper@gmail.com to book an ad.

Ad Specs
All ads are positioned in the right-hand column of the site and rotate within the group of ad sizes their placed in. Dimensions and other specifications are as follows:

  • Resolution: 72dpi
  • Format: .jpg or .gif (sorry, no flash, but animated .gifs are ok)
  • Sizes/Dimensions: each option below contains specific ad sizes.

Ad Rates
All ads run for a period of 30 days with a 10% discount if you book for 90 days. Sizes, pricing, and detials are as follows:

  • OPTION 1: 300px by 250px / $55 for 30 days
    - includes a post on the blog, four weekly tweets, and one weekly facebook page update about your artwork or product from your shop
  • OPTION 2: 300px by 100px / $40 for 30 days
    - includes three weekly tweets and one weekly facebook page update about your artwork or product from your shop
  • OPTION 3: 150px by 150px / $25 for 30 days
    - includes two weekly tweet about your artwork or product from your shop

2) Sponsor a Giveaway
Another great way to gain exposure for your shop or website is by offering a giveaway of a product you sell to the readers of Discover Paper. Here is some quick info  and guidelines regarding giveaways:

  • Giveaways last a full week on the website
  • Giveaways can be a product or gift voucher/certificate (valued at at least $20)
  • Giveaways must be open to US & Canadian residents (though worldwide is preferred)
  • One winner will be chosen (optionally, more winners can be chosen if you like) via random.org and I will notify the winner(s) via email to retrieve their contact information which will then be emailed to you
  • You are responsible for sending a product or gift certificate to the winner(s) and responsible for paying for shipping/handling costs
