Doily Tablescape

I recently happened upon this inspirational shoot designed and styled by Cyd Converse of Sweet Occasions Studio and photographed by Megan Dailor. Swoon much?

Doily Table Inspiration

I have the softest of places in my heart for doilies and Cyd did an incredible job creating a tablescape perfect for a bridal shower or even wedding, tea party, or a children’s Alice in Wonderland-themed birthday party. For more information about this inspired photoshoot, check out Cyd’s post on her blog, The Sweetest Ocassion. To admire more of Cyd’s work, visit her studio.

Love is in the Air

Happy 1st of February everyone! I’m starting this month off with a dreamy engagement session that will make your heart flutter. Photographed by Made U Look Photography, these photos literally show you that love (and hearts) is in the air. But enough with words, onto pictures we go:

Love is in the Air

Isn’t it one of the most magical you’ve ever seen? I love the way the paper hearts are dancing around the couple, as if the hearts are butterflies. So beautiful.

To gaze at more photos, be sure to check out the full post on Made U Look Photography’s blog.

Liesl Pfeffer

I’m really drawn to the work of Australian artist Liesl Pfeffer. I love how she combines her photographs to create abstract nature-inspired collages. In a way, I guess one could label her work as “mixed media”, though she’s given herself the title of “photo-media artist”. I label it simply as beautiful.

Gaze upon these lovelies:

Photography by Alexandra Grablewski

I came across the beautiful photographic works of Alexandra Grablewski during a search for paper butterflies. I think it’s safe to assume I have a slight obsession with butterflies. I’ve probably seen dozens of photos shot by Alexandra, since some of her clientele include Better Homes and Gardens, Chronicle Books, Country Living, Ikea, Martha Stewart Living, and Real Simple just to name a few.

I love the light in Alexandra’s photos and the crispness of her shots, which sort of give off the illusion that I’m not looking at a photograph but that those objects in the photos are actually in front of me.

Rosie Hardy

Every so often I come across an amazing artist or an amazing photographer whose work leaves me breathless, and rarely is it ever one person who is both an artist and photographer. Enter Rosie Hardy. If you haven’t heard of her or seen her work which has been featured on the explore pages of Flickr countless times, I’m pretty sure she is going to become a household name in the world of photography and in the world of art. One of her photos graces the cover a Maroon 5′s latest album Hands All Over.

I perused Miss Hardy’s flickr stream once upon a time ago and happened upon these two incredibly beautiful photos, both that I could see gracing the cover or inside pages of a magazine showcasing anything and everything inspirational.
