National Letter Writing Week
Today marks the first day of National Letter Writing Week! Let’s all pick up our writing utensils and re-enliven the act of handwritten letter-writing. I owe a big thanks to Kaitlyn Patience of isavirtue for letting me know about this momentous event and who’s doing astounding things to inspire everyone keep print alive. Kaitlyn recently collaborated with delightful artist Kate Gabrielle of Scathingly Brilliant and Flapper Doodle on a limited edition series of stationery depicting a darling flapper girl using a typewriter and playing telephone.

Party ‘Staches
Happy Mustache Monday, folks!
Today’s mustaches comes from one of my favorite blogger/mom/photographer/crafter sensations: Ashley Campbell of Under the Sycamore Tree, who is also a regular contributor over at one of my other favorite blogs, Design Sponge. Under the Sycamore Tree recently underwent a revamp with the help of talented watercolor artist Katie Daisy. Ashley recently shared a wonderful post full of loads and loads of fun photos of a mustache-themed 60th birthday party for her father. The mustaches were too fun not to share!

Ashley Meaders
I imagine event styling would be one of the most fun jobs to have. Granted, it’s probably not the easiest job because every little detail at an event goes a long way, but it sure does look fun.
Ashley Meaders is someone I admire greatly because she’s a stylist who can make an event look elegant and FUN at the same time. You’ve probably seen Ashley’s work because she’s teamed up with Design Sponge, Once Wed, and numerous others folks. Here are a few examples of her work that were beckoning me to share them:

Paper Decorations from My Daughter’s 3rd Birthday
Happy Friday, folks! Last Saturday we celebrated my eldest daughter’s 3rd birthday and I wanted to share a couple paper-related decorations I made for the event. Armed with kraft wrapping paper, butcher paper, and an old book that would have been discarded, here’s what I crafted with what little time and budget (outside of food/presents) I had for the event.

Hope you enjoyed the photos! Have a fabulous weekend!
