I always have a thing for books and art. Either I see them on the shelves or an art in various mediums like paint on canvas, rocks as sculptures. However, Veska Abad of Abadova definitely showed both books and art in a different manner. She’s an illustrator and an animator who uncovered her joy in handmaking, thus she turned old books into a sculptured art.
Not to worry though about repurposing these tomes because she’s using old telephone books. I admire how something so simple and often thought of as useless is transformed into art.
