I spied this beautiful piece from Strictly Paper a while back.

Designer Andrew Nip, originally from Vancouver, Canada and current resident of Copenhagen while he completes his one-year masters at the Copenhagen Institute for Interaction Design, in collaboration with Andrew Spitz created an artful piece entitled Paper Note, a physical representation of a recording made up of paper disks.
