One of my favorite things to do when I was in grade school was create book covers for my text books out of brown paper bags. I can’t wait until my little ones are in school and revive that joy. Who knows, I might even re-live that joy sooner thanks to these splendid diy ideas by some of folks I admire:

Oh – I miss book covers. They totally remind me of high school. I am sure the book covers I had back then were super nerdy!
i’m thinking of making book covers for my kids’ books that have seen better days :) and i bet your covers were creative!
thanks for featuring my work! I love your website–the design is just beautiful.
I love the last book covers! This makes me wanna get out my old books and spend an afternoon making covers for them!

I use wire bound notebooks. I use notebooks that fill of functional needs, but they’re not always attractive. I think I might wrap one of my notebooks and see what I think!
