Friday afternoon, the Mr. and I made a 2 and half hour journey (through LA traffic!) to meet up with friends and get our copies of Decorate signed by Holly Becker. We made it to the Anthropologie store at the Grove just mere minutes before Holly left and I was all sorts of shaky meeting her! I’m happy to report I didn’t go completely mute or Justin-Bieber-fan-girl on her. She was extremely nice and gave me a hug and signed my book and I pretty much felt like I could die a happy woman after that.

I was bummed we didn’t arrive on time to view Holly’s mood board presentation, but I did capture a few shots of her display and mood board at the store. If you haven’t picked up a copy of Decorate, hop to! It’s chock full of decorating tips, ideas, and inspiration galore for every room and nook and cranny of a living space.

We stayed awhile at the store perusing ridonculously-priced door knobs, tea kettles and the like, and I shot a few photos of Anthropologies other creative paper displays.

Gorgeous displays, no? Anthropologie’s easily right up there with Ikea in my book of “Stores I could see myself living in.”
